The singer MARYANN COTTON, who recently moved to Las Vegas, quickly realized the motto of his place of residence “You don't have to take yourself so seriously, see a lot with a wink - but always deliver highly professional”.
The new work "Hallelujah", which will be released on July 3rd, 2020 on EL PUERTO RECORDS, is a well-groomed work which will enjoy us.
With legendary Hal Patino involved as bass player, the first sensation listening in preview this platter is that we have in front of us a band which learned the lesson from first Alice Cooper, with vocals where emerges the talent of this singer.
We can feel it since first song, the title-track, or in following NIGHT IN CALIFORNIA.
More rhythm in next I’M YOUR SAINT, while in WHITE PEARL high level vocals are enriched by inspired guitar’s solos.
In THOSE THINGS TO COME, one of our favs, we can find a fancy arpeggio, harmonica’s inserts, great bass lines and again solo parts to remark.
ETERNAL LOVE FOREVER is another great ballad, with suffused atmospheres, where is enjoyable the 80’s flavour, followed by TAKE ME HOME (DELILAH), which doesn’t hit us.
MY OWN WAY is a real gem, more complex, which ends in the best way this great album.
A DROP OF ALICE COOPER, A DROP OF EIGHITIES VIBES, AN OWN TOUCH..AND THE COCKTAIL IS READY!
