Malacoda will be out on July 16th, 2021 with their second release of the year,an EP entitled “The Strain” preceded by first single “The Strain”
This EP capitalizes on the band's mastery over dynamic spaces, with long epic passages filled with twists and turns to keep listeners on their toes, with the right balance of dark aggression and melody in these four new songs.
The fist shot is above mentioned THE STRAIN, a song with a contemporary flavour, great rhythm, vocals balanced between lighter and rougher solutions, and a progressive structure.
CRIMSON PEAK is the second shot, opened by a melodic part ready to grow second after second, while WHERE SHADOWS PLAY, powerful and rhythmic, is another ace.
The last song is MIND FLAYER that ends in the best way this new EP.
