💿 Hi, it's a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal GUSTAV WREMER of GRANDE ROYALE. Welcome!!

On March 26th will be out your 5th album CARRY ON, well-received on our pages. Can you tell us somethin'about its composition process and style and about differences with previous record TAKE IT EASY?

Carry on is a rock n’roll straight ahead album with 11 songs, compared to TAKE IT EASY where we experimented more with different instrument such as horns. We produced CARRY ON by ourselves.

💿 In your early times as musicians which artists influenced you the most?

I was a huge Danko Jones fan when I started playing music!

💿Can you tell us somethin' about the birth of the band?

Started as a drinking-beer-on-sundays and play music. And it still is. We Love writing music and play together.

💿 How is difficult promote a new work throughout this never-ending covid madness?

Its tough. Usually we play a lot and meet the people who are listening to our music. And usually we sell a lot of records on the road. So its tough.

💿Here at HARDROCKHEAVYMETAL we are strong defender of classic format..love for vintage or isn't there a future outside digital?

An album should be on vinyl!!! 🙂

💿 Your new album is again out on THE SIGN RECORDS . Can you tell us somethin'about the partnership with them?

Great guys. They help us a lot and make the records available for the fans etc.

💿 Can you tell us somethin' about the great cover of new album?

It’s an old statue from egypt on the front cover. I guess that the statue works as a symbol for “Carry on”.

The statue is old as f#ck but it still..Carry on.

💿 In absence of live music many bands provides streaming concerts..You agree or disagree? What's your opinion about?

I’m not a big fan of streaming concerts. Sorry but I don't like it that much. I prefer going to a club, having a beer and chat with people.
