💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal..DIAMOND CHAZER! Welcome!!

HEY! The pleasure is ours! Thank you for this invitation! Here Stiven Giraldo (Vocals & Keyboards).

💿 On Nov 3rd will be out CHASING DIAMONDS, well-received on our pages. Can you tell us somethin'about its composition process and style?

Sure, as you might know this release is gonna be a compilation of our previous releases Chained in Tokyo EP (2018) & Diamond Chazer/Poltergeist single (2019) plus 2 old songs that I wrote back in the day and additionally we are going to release a cover by the Swedish heavy metal legend GOTHAM CITY.

Well the composition process has been kinda the same so far, I write most of the music and I show the rest of the gang and they start adding some arrangements which complement perfectly the main idea of the song. I would define our style like Heavy Rock because today’s idea of heavy metal has become into fast drums and twin guitars all over the way and we are not looking for that even though we like these ideas and we have use them before.

We are looking for a more melodic and classic sound.

💿 In your early times as musicians which artists influenced you the most?

Well, our influences vary a lot and we take a lot of influences not only from Heavy Metal but from rock and roll in general… but if you wanna some bands in specific they would be: Scorpions, Judas Priest, Diamond Head, Tokyo Blade, Angel Witch and the NWOBHM in general, but always want to keep certain AOR touches in our music and bands such as FOREIGNER and FM as well as the nostalgic feeling of the French and Swedish bands are essential to us.

💿 Can you tell us somethin about the birth of the band?

I thought about starting this project very much time ago, most of the members used to play in another Heavy Metal band called “Hunter” and we split-up because we were paying more attention to another bands that we used to play in. Finally I called some members (and friends) from the previous bands and I showed ‘em some songs I wrote and they loved it and then we decided to start!

💿 How is difficult promote a new work after the lockdown drama? Do you believe can you return soon on stage?

I think that it was easier for everyone to spread their bands on the social medias since everybody in the world was using internet but now the global quarantine is over and gigs are not allowed in most of the planet and that’s a huge problem for all bands. I really hope to see the concerts working soon, life seems like shit without live music.

💿 Here at HARDROCKHEAVYMETAL we are strong defender of classic format..love for vintage or isn't there a future outside digital?

I’m not into the digital stuff that much, actually I’m a vinyl collector and the rest of the gang are as well, our bassist is more into tapes BTW haha.

I can not really understand how the digital stores work but I think we must get used to it since this “reality” is getting more into a “virtuality”. Everything is changing and I think we need to evelop along with this brand new world but TBH I rather be a dinosaur and keep on supporting vinyl and physical formats!

💿 Your new album will be out on FIGHTER RECORDS; Can you tell us somethin about the partnership with them?

We just wanna say that we feel more that thankful with Dave Rotten and FIGHTER records for putting their eyes on us and give us this huge opportunity of spreading our music all around the globe.

💿 Can you tell us somethin about the great cover of new album?

The cover was made by our huge friend Lu Agudelo which captured our ideas nailing them 100%... The main idea was wrapping our previous covers up into one and creating sort of a story with the “diamond chasing samurai” (see our EP) turned into an evil warrior by the power and the spirits of the diamond (see our single). Our friend has worked with really good bands including Enforcer & Candlemass just to mention some… GO FOLLOW HER ON INSTAGRAM! @subhuman_illustrations

💿 Are you working on new material for your debut full-length. Can you tell us somethin'about?

Right now we have been working hard writing and rehearsing our new songs for our upcoming debut and we promise you all, YOU WILL LOVE IT, it has a kinda psycho-cosmic feeling with some synth-nostalgic passages, melodic and more technical soloing, hard sounding bass and more dynamic drums.

We think there hasn’t been an album like that in our country and we really want to show our improvement with all of you!
