💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal GIANCARLO FLORIDIA of FAITHSEDGE! Welcome!! Hey thanks for having me ! I appreciate it and thanks for the support! 💿 You are ready to unleash your new album BLEED FOR PASSION on July 26th. Can you tell us your feelings about it and somethin' about its style and composition process? Well most people liked the last album we did and the debut also. The second one wasn’t bad I think it was too trash metal for people that dig what we do. So I pretty much do what I always do and just set up pro tools and do demos of songs. I’ll usually put all the riffs and format together and then comes up with a title or concept for the song . Then it either happens quick where the song comes together fast or sometimes I have to write it over and over to where I get to where it needs to be . And then also I sat down with Tim Gaines in a room on a tune called “Through the scars” we threw ideas around and then I came back to California and finished it up happy with that song also .

💿 Your new album will be out via Scarlet Records and via SPIRITUAL BEAST (in Japan). Can you tell us somethin'about these partnership? Well I’ve changed a little over the years so it’s been a little easier for me to work with my labels . I used to rush things too often. Now I am more patient and try not to drive them crazy. Either way they believe in me cause we are on album number four for Scarlet and number two for Spiritual Beast so I appreciate all they do for me. It’s a very difficult time in the whole music business so to have their support is great! So thanks Everyone in Italy and Japan at my labels! 💿 This line up is literally amazing! Besides you, only reading the bands where your mates are/were involved gives me the creeps!! Yes it’s always great to work with someone who you admire their work on and even better if you can be friends with . I’ve worked with Alex De Rosso for years now and I’ve known Tim Gaines for almost 20! Matt Starr Coaching is the most local to me so it’s nice to know I can always go see him play locally or just go to a show and hang with him. Things got a little wild toward the end of last year once Tim and Stryper had their falling out that was a bit tough so I just got off posting to social media for a few months and focused on writing the new album instead of getting too caught up with that. Either way yes it great to see everyone doing well that I get to play with and I’m a fan also.

💿 There's a great return of format such as vinyl. What's your thinking about this classic format..love for vintage or is it impossible a future for music outside digital? You know I’ve had a few people ask so maybe it’s a possibility. I keep getting asked about it so maybe we will look into it. Plus the cover is really cool I think it would look great as vinyl . We will see what happens maybe we run off some records. 💿 Inside your songs what’s the role of lyrics in the composition process? Words follow music or vice versa? Sometimes a song title or lyric line will come to me and not leave me . I have many ideas but certain ones just stand out. If an idea isn’t working sometimes you just have to not stress about it and try a new idea. But on the music side you have to try to balance an album to me I don’t want one album to sound like all the songs are the same so I‘ll change keys and tempos and even sometimes guitar tunings. Writing a full album I try to focus on people listening to the whole thing not just a song or two. 💿 Can you tell us somethin’ about your live plans? Are scheduled any gigs? Well I would like to play in Italy and japan we will see but no plans for now.

💿 Amazing cover for BLEED FOR PASSION ..Can. you tell us somethin’about about that?

Frederico from Frozen Crown/Be the wolf did a great job and he’s very talented . I had the concept in my mind and then drew him out a sketch and then he did his thing and made it amazing . All we really discussed after that is really some color ideas and things like that he is also doing our lyric videos for the new album so I’m looking forward to seeing those in the next few weeks .
