FABIO TENCA - Skanners 💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal FABIO TENCA of SKANNERS! Welcome!! Thank you very much ! . for us it’s a pleasure too!I'm Fabio the guitar player. 💿 Your new album TEMPTATION is out for a few days (April 26th). Here at Hardrockheavymetal we have the chance to listening a tons of music but honestly, we were really impressed with. Can you tell us your feelings about it and somethin' about its composition process? Thank you for compliments!!! Our composition process is very simple – The main roles are guitars and vocals - normally we start with some guitars riff or with vocal improvisations. When we get good vibrations we start all together to compose and arrange the song. We try to play it in different ways and mood and when everything sounds good we got it! we are very proud of our last production and we love it particularly because its songs talk about current themes and the contrast between good and evil 💿 You're on the road since 1982, and DIRTY ARMADA, your first masterpiece was out in 1986. What’s your opinion about Italian metal scene? How many differences can you see throughout over 35 years? At the beginning of the 80's there were only few Heavy Metal Bands in Italy, that’s why we felt like pioneers driven by passion, by the desire to play together and to share feelings with our fans. The technology and the equipment available were limited compared to nowadays , the whole musical environment was moving more slowly than now. Nowadays it’s easier to become visible, the technical level of the musicians is very high thanks to technology and the network. There are a lot of good metal bands in Italy but at the same time there is also too much Junk. 💿 Your new album is out via Alpha Omega Records. Can you tell us somethin’ about your relationships with them? We’re very proud and excited to work with a great and big management such as AO – Alex Azzali and his young team are very professional and helpful for us and for our future plans… 💿 There's a great return of format such as vinyl. What's your thinking about these classic format ..love for vintage or is it impossible a future for music outside digital? We love vinyl and the vintage mood – but you know the future will be the mixture between analogue and digital as is happening now. 💿 Inside your songs what’s the role of lyrics in the composition process? Words follow music or vice versa? Words follow music….The lyrics depend on the feelings and the vibrations that the music produces so we adapt the texts the songs talk about current themes.

 They speak about the good and evil and precisely of humanity temptations.

💿 Can you tell us somethin’ about your live plans? We are currently making an official video from TEMPTATION Album. We have also two important concerts on July 12th IN FLAMMEN FESTIVAL in Torgau (D) with Enforcer – Pestilence  and many others…..and on August 4th Metal for Emergency Festival in Bergamo (I) with Anthrax… Then we are planning the TEMPTATION tour…… Stay Tuned ! 💿 Throughout over 35 years you shared the stage with several amazing bands. Which of them impressed you the most? And, if is it possible, which is the craziest? I can tell you that we learned so much from all the bands we shared the stage with !!! Ronnie James Dio is certainly an incredible singer and an extraordinary person, the Deep Purple are very humble and very great professionals. Dee Snider was the craziest and Twisted Sister were completely out of mind ….. but probably they played the role of the classic rock star…!! 💿 Thank you so much for your time!
