💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal MIKE JELINEK, guitarist of ANGEL BLACK! Welcome!! Hello how are you doing? Thank you for having us. 💿 On March 22nd was out your debut full-length called KILLING DEMONS. Can you tell us somethin’about its composition process and concept? We had the pleasure to listening to it  and we were really impressed! Thank you. Well the world has changed a lot in the last few years. Killing Demons, is a record that we feel can relate to anyone at anytime. You can be the richest man in the world and still have issues that tear you apart. On the other hand you take someone that is totally broke, but spiritually there in a great place. It’s the good versus evil thing. Were glad were getting positive feedback on the record. 💿 Can you tell us something 'about your passion for our loved kind of music ? Which bands have influenced you the most? Heavy Metal music has the most passionate fans out of all the music genre’s out there. I would also give them a lot of credit for being knowledgeable about what is going on in the world. Heavy Metal brings people together as one, it’s truly music that comes from the heart. As for influences I love the classic’s Dio, Priest, Maiden and Accept.

💿 You come from PHOENIX, AZ. Can you tell us somethin'about the status of your local scene? Yes I can. There a lot of tremendous musicians in Phoenix. A lot of good bands. I feel bad for a lot of them that go out and bust there ass and they don’t make any money. In the late 80’s and 90’s Phoenix had great scene and you got paid for playing. 

Without saying to much the money is not going in the bands pocket. 💿 The real “news” in music industry is the return of vinyl and audio cassette; What’s your feeling about these classic format and the current music “business”? Of course I’m happy about vinyl and cassettes making a comeback, actually vinyl has been getting stronger and stronger. The current music business has got to reward the guys that sweat their ass off making the music. I have seen guys lose everything they have trying to stay in the business. I guess you're going to realize Angel Black speaks their mind. 💿 Your album will be out via ROCKSHOTS RECORDS. Can you tell us something’about the birth of this partnership? Well I sure can. I have been fortunate to work with top notch people in the business most of my life. We had some personal issues happen with different people that were working with the band. Something happened, I woke up one morning and said we have to do this on our own if were going to find the right label for us.

 I sent out some press kits, I sent Rockshots Records our tracks. I got a response back quickly, they liked what they heard. The rest is history! Really Rockshots was a God send! They have been professional, but patient, they have pushed us when we needed it, they have been like a family to us. Were lucky to have them. 💿 Can you tell us somethin’ about your next live projects? Are scheduled any gigs? We have some shows we will play in the States. This band is all in, we want to tour with Priest or Maiden.. lol Who doesn’t. But for real, we will go out and stay out there if we can. But that takes support! We want to go to every inch of the world if we can.. Playing live means more than anything.  💿 Thank you so much for your time! See you soon on Hardrockheavymetal!
