2018: AN YEAR OF HARD ROCK on HARDROCKHEAVYMETAL!

After our opinions about NWOTHM, NWOBHM and (CLASSIC) METAL, now it's time to show you our HARD ROCK HIGHLIGHTS..also this time..NO CHARTS!

From UK, LIVING THE DREAM was the last URIAH HEEP masterpiece, an amazing album for an evergreen band; the same title was choosen by SLASH featuring MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS, in their best shape with an high level platter.

From UK another gem made by DON AIREY, keyboardist of DEEP PURPLE and his solo band, enhanced by CARL SENTANCE, present also on last fancy fatigue by NAZARETH.

Interesting NEVER SAY DIE by australian DEAD CITY RUINS and MORE HUMANITY PLEASE by BARROS, from Portugal.

Really sparkling LIPZ with "SCARYMAN", the glam surprise from Sweden, and great confimration from LUCIFER with second chapter of their career.

Fancy the unplugged album by VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS, while really intense and enriched by several amazing guests COMMANDER OF PAIN by SCHUBERT IN ROCK.

From Germany we loved KNIGHTS CALL by AXEL RUDI PELL, and the brilliant RESURRECTION by MICHAEL SCHENKER, sawn live with a can't-miss tour.

Also from Germany two album in the same year by BONFIRE: the smart TEMPLE OF LIES and LEGENDS, with several covers, sawn live in an unlucky tour while to underscore the great one by RHINO PROOF from Finland.

From USA two album also by WHITESNAKE: the first was dedicated to "PURPLE TOUR", while UNZIPPED was an amazing mix of UNPLUGGED tracks throughout the never-ending career of DAVID COVERDALE.

Busy year also for MARCO MENDOZA, out with solo VIVA LA ROCK and new chapter of THE DEAD DAISIES, and for DAVID REECE, in the first slice of the year out with second album by SAINTED SINNERS and next with the well-appreciated solo RESILIENT HEART. 

Great project from USA called DREAM CHILD, with RUDY SARZO, SIMON WRIGHT and CRAIG GOALDY, stunning album by THE RAZ and powerful ATOMIC HIGHWAY from DC4.

A lot of old lions once more into the breach: amazing SPACEMAN by ACE FREHLEY, the new live by ALICE COOPER, the second chapter of RED DRAGON CARTEL with JAKE E.LEE and, last but not least, the new blast from TED NUGENT, "THE MUSIC MADE ME DO IT".
