💿 “MARAUDERS”, your new album, is “hot’n’ready” and available for a few days! Can you tell us somethin’about its composition process and style? We have the privilege to listening to it in and we were very impressed!

Glad you like it! I've been making songs for Outlaw for about three years now, and the first album has songs that were made between 2015 and 2017.

As Outlaw is a young band there has been some development end experimentation during that time, and it's possible to hear that when comparing the tracks on the album.

I think they showcase different sides of Outlaw quite nicely.

All in all, it's a solid traditional heavy metal album.

💿 Can you tell us somethin’ about the birth of the band? Which bands influenced you?

Outlaw was born during a late night car trip with me and our bass player entertaining ourselves with the idea of forming a new project.

After a while it had become a full band and that had recorded a demo and a debut album.

Our influences come from classic metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Fifth Angel, Omen, Manilla Road, Queensryche, Helloween and Manowar.

💿 This new platter will be out via HIGH ROLLER RECORDS. Can you tell us somethin’about the birth of relationships with them?

They just asked us to make an album and we said yes. That is all I know!

💿 The real news in music industry is the return of the vinyl. What’s your opinion about this classic format and the current “music business”?

Music business is business like any other and I'm not really a businessman.

Vinyl is a good format with nice sound and great graphic possibilities but I think cd gets bashed nowadays with no real reason.

I don't believe analog to be superior to digital in any noticeable way.

💿 We love the cover of “MARAUDERS” !! Can you tell us somethin’about?

That's a metal marauder giving some scumbag the Outlaw-treatment!

💿 Can you give us news about your next live projects? Are scheduled any gigs?

We have a Mark Shelton Tribute Night coming up with Chevalier and Evil-Lyn that takes place on 7th of december and in March 2019 we will take part in a two day fest with other 9 Finnish heavy metal bands.

Both shows are in Helsinki.
