💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal DENIMAL BLAKE of ROAD WARRIOR! Welcome!! A thousand hails to you friend!

💿 Can you tell us somethin’about the birth of your band? When is this all begun? ROAD WARRIOR burst out of my skull in a fit of inspiration in late 2015.

This was after the fiery demise of another heavy metal band I was in and I was prompted to writing harder than ever before. I also shifted from drumming to bass n' vocals!

💿 “POWER”, your first full-length, is “hot’n’ready” and will be out from Oct 12th! Can you tell us somethin’ about its composition process? Are you satisfied about this platter? We have the privilege to listening to it in preview and we were very impressed! You said it! Hahaaaa. I composed the album very quickly in fact.

I wrote almost all of the first album in a year, and when I began rehearsal with the other members, everything took shape swiftly to due to their passion, competence and unmatched sleaze factor!

We hit the studio about 5 months after jamming with this line-up of myself, Villon and Overdryve. We are satisfied with this debut album, no doubt.

It came out much like we hoped and better.

There is always new ground to break and ideas to move, so with that said, the next album is actually already written and 2019 will see the 2nd ROAD WARRIOR album out...just like the old days! 💿 The real “news” in music industry is the return of vinyl; What’s your feeling about this classic format and the current music “business”? No complaints from me. Vinyl is literally superior as a music reproduction format and the money spent on a vinyl, especially nowadays, is a great investment.

Vinyl also reinforces attention to the music you have paid for. It is in stark contrast to stupid platforms like Spotify. I acknowledge that LP's can be expensive for some, especially in regards to postage, but there are also CD's, and even album length cassettes, which are selling well also.

💿 Your new album will be put via GATES OF HELL RECORDS; Can you tell us somethin’ about relationships with them? GOH Records is a subsidiary of Cruz Del Sur Records. Great bands on both labels.

The relationship has been simple, honest and extremely supportive and I have heard of no bands having a bad word to say about these labels. We couldn't be happier right now!

True Metal Warriors with Hungry Hearts! 💿 Can you tell us somethin’ about your live projects?

The only live show (our official first) is at Steel Assassins Festival in Sydney, Australia, this November 2018.

After the albums release we shall see what offers come along, but either way we still march quickly towards our next album. 💿 Lastly, you came from AUSTRALIA; Can you tell us somethin’about your local hard’n’heavy scene? Here in Adelaide/South Australia, we have some hard rock bands and few heavy metal bands. I can name The Menace as a cool hard rock band and Lucifer's Fall are cool/cult dooming heavy metal.

There are of course other heavier styles (thrash/death/black) but then I would be making a BIG list! 💿 Thank you so much for your time! See you soon on Hardrockheavymetal! Anytime for any crime brother!
