💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal Jim Gregory of SOLIUM FATALIS! Welcome!!

Can you tell us somethin’about your early days of your career? When is this all begun? Which bands have influenced you? 

This band started in 2012 as a result of many things falling into place like having guys with the willpower to want to be in a band that’s bigger than who they are as musicians while simultaneously not being a bunch of cunts who only care about themselves. 

 THAT is a tricky combination of person to find. 

💿 “GENETICALLY ENGINEERED TO ENSLAVE”, your new full-length, is “hot’n’ready” and will be out from Oct 13th!. Can you tell us somethin’about its composition process?

Are you satisfied about this platter? We have the privilege to listening to it in preview and we were very impressed!

 Thanks. I don’t think we’re ever fully satisfied but that’s why we keep making albums. In terms of this band it’s the best album we have. In terms of writing the songs it’s just a matter of Ryan and I sitting down and composing stuff, it’s all done on the spot, and for lyrics I write them all and they are a mother fucker to come up with in terms of being poetic and original, I do wish people would read them more but we know how difficult reading can be in this day and age.

💿 The real “news” in music industry is the return of vinyl; What’s your feeling about this classic format and the current music “business”?

I love vinyl. I wish we had our albums on vinyl. It sounds better than digital, and it’s a unique piece of band support that you can’t steal but if you do that would be a felony and you would go to prison for that…..and probably be molested….but you’d deserve it you thieving piece of shit. 

💿 Several guests will appear on new album, Can you tell us somethin’ about it? 

 Matt McGachy of Cryptopsy as well as Haydee Irizarry of Aversed and Carnivora do some guest vocals on a song, and Phil Tougas from First Fragment/Chthe’ilist and 23 other bands has a guest guitar solo, they are friends of mine who I asked on a whim for fun but I think their parts came out awesome. Blow on that duck call.

💿 Can you tell us somethin’about your next live projects?

 We have a CD release show that is going to be something like 75 minute set time and covers all 4 of our albums, that should be sick, we have a gig with Carach Angren coming up, and hopefully booking a tour in the near future so the millions of fans we have out there dying to see us can get a taste!
