💿 Hi, it's pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal PUNEET SHARAM of ASCENDANT! Welcome!!
 The pleasure is all ours. We can’t thank you enough for your interest in our music and it’s essence 💿 Can you tell us somethin’about early days of your career? When is this all begun? Which bands have influenced you and what's the matter of your moniker? The band started with Ashish , Alaa and I meeting every second week to jam a few tunes until a few months later Aram and Youmni had to leave war torn Syria and to our luck they arrived in Dubai. The line up was complete and the synergy was evident.
💿 "A THOUSAND ECHOES", your new full-length, will be out on April 20th. Can you tell us somethin’about its composition process? Are you satisfied about this platter? We have the privilege to listening to it in preview and we're very impressed!
A Thousand Echoes is satisfying beyond expectation for all of us. The album transformed our lives as it culminated to its end.Â
This is evident to me now and I eagerly await to see what it does to the listeners.Â
I am happy that you like it.Â
But personally , as we reached the end of the composition process of the album I realized that the band is evolving into something that can be even more magnificent and the music still deeper and closer to the one message that we want to bring out.
 ‘A Thousand Echoes’ tackles the human emotions of a war affected country and their natural response to the tragedies.
 It’s not a political message or a message of rebellion, but a call out to humanity to rise above and it’s not very easy to put this message in a book or a poem , only music can do this for us. Satisfied ? yes !!Â
But watch out for what comes next because their no limit to where a human can rise to.

💿 The real "news" in music industry is the return of vinyl; What's your feeling about this classic format and the current music business? Well, anything that encourages physical sales is a positive - however the people who buy vinyl represent a fraction of the total potential market. I think the music industry is undergoing growing pains as we move on to new technologies.
 I think it's vital for a few things to happen before true musical talent can be nurtured - because that doesn't happen in the present environment:
a) Change the attitude of music's consumers. Most consumers think it should be free, but it isn't and never was;
b) Technology should be leveraged to enforce artists' rights. One can't steal patents or infringe on copyrights, so lets apply the same standards to intellectual property in the domain of music. 💿 Can you tell us somethin’about your next live projects?
Performing ‘A Thousand Echoes’ live a great experience on its own.Â
We wish to take it all over the world and transfer this volcanic energy to the crowd.Â
Upcoming plans include a tour to Europe but still in very early stages of planning so I can’t confirm anything. 💿 We love the cover of your album! Who made it?
 Alaa who also plays guitar in Ascendant made the cover. There are hints from all the songs but the cover stands out on its own as a piece of art. I would definitely want to give this CD a Spin if I saw that cover on a shelf.
💿 Thank you so much for your time! See you soon on Hardrockheavymetal!  We thank you and your readers and hope they enjoy listening to it as much as Ascendant did making ‘A Thousand Echoes’!Â
