Our readers know that we don't love charts and scores, so we want simply talk about of some best news in Classic HARD ROCK's scene throughout this ending year, with the certainty of forgetting somebody or somethin'..and we apoligize for this!
It was the return with an amazing studio full-lenght by ALICE COOPER; PARANORMAL is the right compendium of a never ending career!
In the GREAT WHITE's world two new album: FULL CIRCLE for the official moniker, which goes on in the best tradition of the band, and the JACK RUSSELL's version, more rock oriented.
THE DEAD DAISIES are the classic example about how a super band became a real band, both in studio and live (LIVE & LOUDER is the clear proof); instead we're a bit disappointed about the second chapter of REVOLUTION SAINTS, not compelling compared to 1st album.
It was the year of the big return of BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION with IV..we wish that it will be the chance to see them live next year!
Another INFINITE career is that of DEEP PURPLE..awesome studio album and next double live!
One of our favourites of this year was the second chapter of SNAKECHARMER..classy HARD ROCK at top level!!
Third studio album by BLACK STAR RIDERS and another confirmation!
A big appluse for the debut of BIGFOOT and a good second chapter by INGLORIOUS, maybe a step behind the previous job.
MR BIG's return is called DEFYING GRAVITY..honestly songs sound better played live..
KADAVAR's ROUGH TIMES is the final leap for the Berlin based band..the real ripening of the band!
Finally was out the 1st album made by APPICE brothers, with a lot of friends as PAUL SHORTINO and JIM CREAN.
VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS are out with their stunning second chapter..it's a pleasure seiin' Adrian and his mates in this kind of shape!
Another great new name is AERODYNE, with the great BREAKING FREE; another compelling by CRAZY LIXX with RUFF JUSTICE and SINNER with TEQUILA SUICIDE.
Lastly, great works by EUROPE, in their seventies keyboards driven mood, GOTTHARD, with SILVER, and RIVERDOGS with CALIFORNIA.
