💿 Hi,it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal LADY BEAST, ​a real prodigy in NWOTHM scene! Thank you for taking the time to speak with us and for your kind words! 💿 Let’s start talking about the early days of this band..When is this all begun? Which bands have influenced you? The band started as rebirth of an early band Greg and I were in called Long to Hell. We wrote the song Lady Beast with that band and decided to continue on with that name. In 2009 the band had its first show and our first full length album ‘Lady Beast’ came out in 2012. Its sometimes hard to think back to those early days! Since the start we have had multiple member changes until the recording of our third release, an EP called ‘Metal Immortal’. Adam Ramage and Christopher Tritschler have been in the band since the first album. It is Andy Ramage that was our newest edition and great fit for lead guitar. The band has grown so much since our last release Icannot wait for the world to hear ‘Vicious Breed’. We are influenced by all of our favorite bands. Some obvious ones being Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Ronnie James Dio. Some maybe not obvious influencesare Mercyful Fate, Thin Lizzy, and Motorhead. 💿 On November 17th will be out your new platter called VICIOUS BREED. Can you tell us somethin’about this album nd its composition process? We had the privilege to listening to in preview and we’re very satisfied! THANK YOU!! We are so excited to unleash the Beast with this album!! From beginning to end its banger! With also some new territory that we have not yet explored. There is a slower Priest inspired ballad (Always With Me) and an instrumental (Sky Graves)! I feel like we grow from album to album. We grow in our songwriting, i grow in my lyric writing and constructing an album as whole. This is the best recording any of us have written/participated in to date. We are very proud of ourselves. The recording process for this album was so smooth and natural. It was very fun and we were very prepared. 💿 This album will be out via italian Cruz Del Sur Music. Can you tell us somethin’about the relationships with this label? This is the first album we will be releasing with Cruz Del Sur. We are very excited about this new relationship and looking forward to seeing the album being in their arsenal. There are many good bands on this label and so far its been very good for us! We are used to releasing our own vinyl on our label. Thats how the first 3 albums came to be on vinyl. So this is new for us to sit back after recording is done and wait. But its cool!! :) Enrico and his team at Cruz are all so nice and we honored to be part of the family. 💿 The real “news” in music industry is the return of vinyl; What’s your feeling about this classic format and the current music business? What’s your opinion about the renewed interest for traditional hard’n’heavy ? Thats funny news to me! Vinyl has never gone anywhere to us! All we listen to is vinyl, all we buy is vinyl, all we collect is VINYL!! Our main goal no matter how much money we had to work with was release all albums on vinyl. Its the truest form of listening to music. It sounds the best, had amazing art and presentation and has more magic than any other format. I always encourage bands to release on vinyl. Money is always an issue, but thats why we play shows! Thats how you make the money to do these things and release them yourself when no one else is offering.

I would say when we started playing heavy metal in 2009 there were not many bands doing the same. In the last 7 years or so there has been a resurgence and metal is very popular again! I say, “hell yeah!”! Heavy metal has more fire since the days of the 80s. There are many awesome bands and I am excited to see what the future holds. 💿 Can you tell us somethin’about your next live projects to promote the new album? Are there some gigs scheduled? We are going to be filming our first music video to release for promotion of the new album. Super excited about this! Its been a long time coming for Lady Beast to have a music video. We have one more show scheduled for this year in Cleveland, a record release to plan and already planning tours in the US for next year. Europe is on the tip of our tongues.
