💿 Hi, it’s a pleasure for us to have on Hardrockheavymetal, Andreas Johansson from AIR RAID,  HEAVY METAL prodigy from SWEDEN! Hey there! 💿 We’re all in waitin’ for the new platter ACROSS THE LINE out in september. Can you tell us somethin’about this new album and its composition process? Which will be differences by two previous works? First of all, we have two new members in the band since last album, Fredrik Werner (Vocals) and Magnus Mild (Guitar). The songwriting began exactly one year ago, when Magnus and I met up and discussed about how to manage the composing. It took some time to adapt him into the “Air Raid” -sound, but after that it was flowing really well.                           The majority of the music are written by us two, except a few that are composed solely by me with some additional ideas from Robin (Bass). All lyrics were written by us 3 in different combinations.                                                                                                                                  “Across The Line” is slightly more guitar oriented than our previous. It’s packed with screaming solos and memorable riffs. The overall feel of the album is quite melancholic. It comes natural to combine neo-classical elements along with the usual traditional Metal. Also I think many can hear our Scandinavian roots in several melodies and such. Last but not least, I have to say that Fredriks vocal performance is beyond amazing! This guy has a monster voice!  💿 Another album on High Roller Records..can you tell us somethin’about the relationships with this label? We have a great relationship with High Roller Records. They are very supportive and professional. Steffen, the owner, believed in us from day one so we couldn’t be more happy! 💿 The real “news” in music industry is the return of vinyl; What’s your feeling with this classic format? I love it really much, the warm sound from a vinyl is hard to beat!                                    I can also mention that our new album “Across The Line” will be released on vinyl too of course! 💿 We’ve seen a lot of gigs scheduled..How much is important for you playing live? It’s extremely important for us. Not only is it incredibly fun, but also crucial to reach out to people. Internet is a great tool, but everything we do comes down to one thing, to play shows. That’s when our music comes alive for real! 💿 Lastly, what is your opinion about the renewed interest for traditional hard’n’heavy? Of course it’s nice that people shows lots of interest to this kind of music we play. It’s also nice there are many new bands popping. However, if there were only one person listening to us, we would do the exact same thing! We just love it. It comes from the heart! 💿 Thank you so much for your time!
