WALLOP, the band from Germany who released their debut album “Metallic Alps” in 1985, has returned with the original line-up.

When drummer Stefan Arnold left his former band Grave Digger in 2018 after a 23 years, it was time to restart the WALLOP’s experience.

After 35-years break, they continue with their true 80’s old-school metal with no compromises.

The first step was made in April 2019, when a 4-track promo EP was released, and the band performed their very reunion show.

Recently the band finalized the new album Alps on Fire, out on Pure Steel Records on April 24th, which contains old songs as well as some new previously unreleased stuff, including the cover of classic RAVEN’s “Crash, bang, wallop”, with John Gallagher himself as special guest on vocals and guitar solo.

In this platter you can find all trademarks of classic metal, from runaways and gallops to fast attacks, from blistering solos to great changes of time.

Squared, with powerful rhythm section, enhanced by dynamic sound of the drums when it needs.
