Voodoo Circle, the German hard rock band founded in 2008, led by Primal Fear guitarist Alex Beyrodt, one week ago was out with a new album, the 6th, entitled LOCKED & LOADED, available on AFM Records.

This album is the first work after they announced on October 19th, 2020 the return of vocalist David Readman and drummer Markus Kullmann.

Again confirmed the longtime mate Mat Sinner on bass guitar.

The return of two “classic member” is a true added value; especially David Readman an old-school singer able to provide a giant dose of charisma.

You can feel it since first FLESH & BONE, that reminds best and powerful #WHITESNAKE, all enhanced by a strong rhythm section and by an on-fire riffing.

WASTING TIME, opened by a dreaming keyboards, is more lilting and full of emphasis, enriched by solo parts really inspired.

MAGIC WOMAN CHILE is another brilliant tune, followed by the title track, the craziest song of the platter.

DEVIL WITH AN ANGEL SMILE is a more rockin’ and “dirtier” chapter while STRAIGHT FOR THE HEART reminds us the clear influence from master DAVID COVERDALE.

They go on with EYES FULL OF TEARS, a more thoughtful song full of emotions, and DEVIL’S CROSS.

To remark TROUBLE IN THE MOONLIGHT, while THIS SONG IS FOR YOU is a suffered song that remind us the touch of more introspective GARY MOORE.

CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION is the track that ends in the best way this brilliant album.

ONE OF THE BEST THINGS LISTENED IN THIS FIRST SLICE OF 2021!!
