VERITATES, HM band from Germany, are ready to unleash their beast called KILLING TIMES, out on PURE STEEL RECORDS on 17/1/2020.

They come from Cologne and Loerrach and they are dedicated to classic and power metal but with a production son of our times.

“Killing Time" is their debut that provides several solutions, structures with great hooks as in the title track often meet with a slightly complex, sweeping arrangement, for example in the 11-minute epic "Hangmen Also Die".

They have brought some guest musicians on board such as singer André Grieder and guitarist V.O. Pulver (both Poltergeist), Andreas Doetsch (Wolfen) or Shasank Venkat (Against Evil).

THE PAST ID DEAD is the first shot, so classic but with a powerful production, grandiloquent vocals that prevail, and a solo to remark.

The title track starts with a solo, an effective rhythm section and sharp riffs but we can find also a progressive part which introduces another breakout with another awesome solo divided in two parts.

JERUSALEM SYNDROME, after a thoughtful intro develops itself in a classic metal attack.

Anyway a wide and a rich tune!

AWAKENING is an inspired song, thoughtful and with slower rhythms, able to hit the listeners for its epic flavour.

After abovementioned HANGMEN ALSO DIE, a top level song, THE WILD HUNT and DISCOVERY are faster tracks which you’ll appreciate.

HASTA LA MUERTE is a classic metal song that sounds fresh and pressing and ends in the best way this great platter.
