On Feb 25th will be out the highly anticipated debut album of Austria’s band VENATOR, entitled “Echoes From the Gutter”, available on Dying Victims Productions.

Formed in 2016, throughout 2020 VENATOR unleashed their recorded debut, the EP “Paradiser”.

The debut full-lenght shows an amazing artwork courtesy of frontman Hans Huemer; From the Gutter takes the melody and moodiness of its no-less-inconsiderable predecessor to uncharted heights both grimy and gleaming.

Nine tracks in this new album opened by HOWL AT THE RAIN, where the trademarks of the band are clear: traditional HM enhanced by pressing an dynamic drums, roaring bass lines and brilliant solo parts.

SEVENTH SEAL is opened by an electric arpeggio, before exploding, while RED AND BLACK looks more rhythmic.

After traditional anthems NIGHTRIDER and MANIC MAN, also MADE OF LIGHT is convincing.

They go on with gallops of THE RISING and THE HEXX before more lilting STREETS OF GOLD ends in the best way an album that we suggest.
