THE WAIT IS OVER! The new album of legendary #cult #nwobhm band TYSONDOG will be available on FROM THE VAULTS on April 29th, 2022.

Nothin’ to add about the band (a well-known name on our pages!) but the main thing is that, after seven years, is finally ready the successor of CRY HAVOK.

“Midnight” is the title of the record and it consists of nine new tracks; it will be available both on cd and vinyl formats (and digitally too).

The first shot is BATTALION, over six minutes long, opened by an intro before a cutting riff come in; the rhythm becomes more pressing, helped by roaring bass lines and stong drumming.

An heavy and powerful song, darker at times which you’ll appreciate; a gorgeous solo enriches the song and everything end with an impressive gallop.

A true war machine..what kind of start is it..WTF!!

The album continues with squared IT LIVES that confirms the high level of the opener, while HELLBOUND, after an intro, is a kick in the teeth supported by a rhythm section that never gives up.

The title-track, after an intro, is squared and heavy, helped by sharp riffing, and is a song that sounds classic but with a modern mood. That’s the right attitude!!!

DEFIANT is amazing..a mad run closer to speed HM, able to be later mighty and powerful at the same time!!

A great solo part to enrich the song..one of our favorite tracks!

DEAD MAN WALKING, after an instrumental intro, shows different solutions and a Priests’ influenced riffing; a various song, with interesting tempo changes and a effective solo part.

They go on with PAPER CUTS, more thoughtful at times; a vibrant song that grows constantly.

Last two shots are COLD DAY IN HELL, a real kick in the teeth, and WAITING FOR GOD, which shows more sinister shades, and end in the best way ONE OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR!!
