TREBUCHET are a project led by Dave Gilbert (Dark Matter and Minor Planet) and Shayne Joseph (Eldrich Rites); this musicians met online and became firm buddies through technology.

It all happened, when Dave was asked to record the vocalists voice, for the debut album by Open Door Of Doom, while Aussie band Eldrich Rites (Melbourne) supplied the music.

Shayne is their guitarist, vocalist and main writer.

Our readers know that we’re fans of the bands recording in the old-school mood, but we understand that we’re in 2020 and that technology provides many solutions with less costs.

However we are faced with a very fine album..embracing riffs, many changes of time, a psychedelic doom alternated with cinematic effects, a long seventies trip with five long-lenght songs where solos are always well-groomed.
