The Neptune Power Federation are ready to unleash their fifth album “Le Demon De L’Amour” on Feb 18th, 2022.

Off the heels of their acclaimed 2019 “Memoirs of a Rat Queen” studio album, the members of The Neptune Power Federation utilized the pandemic to forge an album that takes more chances than its predecessor.

While the band’s trademark rock swagger and prog tendencies are confirmed, Le Demon increase the energy and the power.

True, there is a multitude of genre-blurring taking place, but the album’s infectious choruses and leaden riffs easily re-imagine metal and rock’s glory eras without blatant thievery.

Recorded at bass player JayTanic Ritual’s The Ped Food Factory in Marrickville, Sydney, with mixing duties provided by Clem Bennett, Le Demon De L’Amour leads The Neptune Power Federation into their tenth anniversary next year.

Eight new tracks in this platter opened by WEEPING ON THE MORN that, after a few moments of waiting, unleash rockin’vibes which you’ll appreciate.

Roaring hard rock with catchy backing vocals, enhanced by a brilliant solo part.

On the same line following MY PRECIOUS ONE, while BABY YOU’RE MINE starts with “funky” elements and keys’ inserts..another right shot.

LOVING YOU IS KILLING ME is a song with different solutions, while STAY WITH THEE is more direct, with great tempo changes and gorgeous solo parts; a song with a garage/punky attitude.

Darker following EMMALINE, with Sabbath’s influences, without losing power and energy.

If MADLY IN LOVE sounds great, WE BEASTS OF THE NIGHT provides a first part with a ballad that explodes in the second with electric vibes.
