“Black Candy” is the second album from Australian hard rock band Snake Bite Whisky.

Produced and mixed by Bernie Wedrat, this is their follow up to their poistive-received debut album, “This Side Of Hell” and displays an even wider range of musical influence coupled with their trademark rock n’ roll.

This is also the first recording featuring new members Danny Sharkz on drums and Laggy on Guitars, with original members, vocalist/lyricist Jay R and bass guitarist, Stacii Blake.

The first shot is THUNDERBIRD, punky high voltage RNR, enhanced by roaring bass lines and pounding drums; a direct song that leaves its mark.

RAISED IN HELL reminds us the mood of VELVET REVOLVER, when sleaze meets somethin’ different, followed by CREEP SHOW, dirty in the first slice and next closer to party rock.

Drum n’bass to open next CHOKE, while BONES IN THE FIRE is more lilting and enhanced by another gorgeous solo.

They go on with fast n’furious RELOAD, AIM, KILL while SWEET COCAINE is an enjoyable punky interlude.

After HAMMERED and DEAD BY DAWN, the second maybe a step behind, smart END OF THE LINE ends in the best way an album which you’ll appreciate.
