Slabber, HM name well-known on our pages, are a band born from the ashes of the Italian Rapid Fire of the early 2000s.

They released their debut full-lenght entitled “Colostrum" in September 2017 thus entering the underground scene.

After the debut, engaged in the drafting of new songs, they realize on behalf of Punishment 18 Records the second work "Apocryphal Diary", available on March 26th, 2021.

It contains ten tracks enriched by a direct but not obvious songwriting and a personal style, a great blend of new and old school HM.

The first shot is TIME OF BOREDOM, open by a sharp riffing, a great example of classic metal powered by a contemporary production, enhanced by vocals with a various ranges of solutions, driving bass lines and an inspired guitar’s solo.

Following INSANE ATTACK is a real bomb, smart and galopping while BELL DOES RING, shows Maiden’s attitude, interesting tempo changes, a piano’s break and groovy drops in the last slice.

In EVIL TO PAY all sounds great, with a various structure that holds our attention; BACKBONE is a galopping interlude which opens DIRTY HANDS, powerful and pressing at times, with articulated shapes.

MASHUP is an instrumental track which reveals their “progressive” side, followed by SURVIVOR, maybe a step behind.

Short ESCAPE TO REALITY is an intro for CONDEMNED TO LIVE, a brilliant track that ends in the best way an album to suggest without hesitation.

A CONFIRM BY SLABBER, A BAND ABLE TO DEVELOP A TRUE AND PERSONAL STYLE!
