NIGHT are a band from Sweden that started out as a Judas Priest and Saxon worshiping band with their first release in 2012 but developing an own style, full of influences, from seventies hard rock to traditional Hm, from Heavy rock to more thoughtful moments.

They’re ready to unleash a new album entitled HIGH TIDES, DISTANT SKIES, available after the summer (Sept 11th) on THE SIGN RECORDS.

The band has once again used the help from producer Ola Ersfjord (Primordial, Dead Lord, Imperial State Electric) who the band started to work with on ’Raft of the World’.

A blend of many influences where NIGHT are able to provide somethin’ special and fancy, all enhanced by a powerful and clear production.

SHADOW GOLD is the first shot with embracing riffs and roaring bass and high level vocals; we can find guitar passages and inspired solo parts..a brilliant start!

BURNING SKY starts strong and proud, a great heavy rock tune where all sounds fine, also thanks to interesting changes of time.

CRIMSON PAST starts with acoustic guitar, great rhythm and gorgeous piano, while FALLING IN THE BACK is a more rockin’ one and it will be one of our favs.

RUNNING AWAY shows a more easy listening hard rock sound, but changes of time and great solo parts enrich the whole thing.

A great gallop in HERE ON MY OWN, between traditional Hm and heavy rock, while LOST IN A DREAM provides one of our favs solo.

Pressing GIVE ME TO THE NIGHT and fancy UNDER THE MOONLIGHT SKY ends in the best way one of our HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR.
