In 2002, three Swedish high-schoolers were enjoying their exchange year in Colorado, USA.

They even realized every budding rock band's dream: they were signed by a label and recorded a debut EP! But alas, the fairy tale ending that seemed apparent crumbled before their youthful eyes.

Marvel formed in 2002 when three guys from Åtvidaberg enjoyed rocking and rolling more than studying during their high school exchange year in Colorado we never heard the songs from our debut EP?

Not until today. They was contacted by the US indie label New York Powerhitters and recorded Marvellous in the U.S.

Before the release of the 4-track EP, they parted ways with the label and moved back to Sweden.

The label promised that copies would be sent to us and that but it never happened.

For years they tried to get a hold of the tapes to be able to re-release the songs or at least get a listening copy.

Sadly, the tapes were destroyed in the Universal Studios fire in 2008.

Even though they re-recorded “A Taste of Platinum” for debut album Five Smell City in 2005. So to celebrate their roots they have re-recorded all of the songs.

So after 17 exciting years of releasing albums and touring, Märvel have become a symbol in the modern Rock n Roll community, and their long tradition of writing hits while constantly developing their sound has enabled them to re-record an almost two-decade-old EP and make it sound as if it was written yesterday.

Märvellous will officially be released January 24th, 2020 in 7" and digital formats through The Sign Records.

Four songs of classy hard rock son of best seventies and rock and roll tradition; they provide right vibes, they have solid songs and guitar solos are to remind.
