Italian metal group Maledia will unleash a new album entitled “Phobia” on May 24th on SLIPTRICK RECORDS, consisting of nine new tracks.

With Phobia, Maledia have decided to give many spaces to electronic sounds, providing both a modern and aggressive sound.

Also, in the song Defenceless, the group decided to have an additional guest on vocals in the form of Dave Shadow.

Phobia was recorded and mixed in 2021 at the Breaking Sound Studio and mastered by Andrea Corvo at Synthesis Studio in Rome.

Since first WRONG WAY, sharp riffing meets electro sounds and melodic vibes, providing things already listened in contemporary melodic metal scene; INFECTION is more groovy and sharp, but the presence of electronic elements is again too much.

We appreciate RISE UP, more squared and heavy, and following EYES COLLISION.

This album seems improving song after song and I FEEL IT is an example; not bad more structured READY, more “prog” DEFENCELESS and LEAVE.

REBORN ends an album with some shades that anyway you can appreciate.
