MADHOUSE was founded in 1987 by Carsten Krekow (GT/VC) and Thomas Gamlien (GT) in Hamburg/Germany, followed by Lars Rothbarth (BG) and Paul Slabiak (DR).

With two demos out in last slice of 80’s, GOIN CRAZY (1988) and MADHOUSE (1989), they disbanded in 1991 and every musicians joyned other local metal bands.

In winter 2014 was fixed the reunion and since 2016 MADHOUSE is working on old & new material together with vocalist Didi Shark.

In 2017 was out a demo entitled PURE METAL, while in 2018 was out the first full lenght album METAL OR DIE! and now is time for BRAINDEAD, out on June 12th on IRON SHIELD RECORDS.

A thrash touch in the first attacK, BREAK THE ICE; classic with pressing drums to increase rhythm.

A long classic Hm gallop in NEVER SAY DIE and a mad run in WHO MADE YOU GOD; sharper riffs in POISONED BLOOD with a power HM touch.

Powerful and strong, lilting in the first slice, reminding somethin’ from Anvil..the title track is one of our fav shots!

More “Teutonic” SAVE YOUR SOUL while, LAST MAN STANDING starts powerful and in solo with a classic touch.

We can find an epic flavour in KNIGHTS OF AVALON, powerful and grandiloquent, before great OSCAR and EVIL FANTASIES.

AN HONEST AND ENJOYABLE ALBUM!! MADHOUSE ARE BACK! One more time it's catchy, powerful uptempo HM...the perfect 'Headbanger's stuff'!!
