Lunar Shadow from Germany are ready to unleash new album WISH TO LEAVE via Cruz Del Sur on March 19th.

Since the release of 2019’s The Smokeless Fires, Lunar Shadow and their mastermind Max Birbaum, put togheter a massive transformation.

Birbaum decided to end all Lunar Shadows' live show activities after their now-postponed 2020 appearance at Germany’s Party.San Open Air and he has led Lunar Shadow into post and indie rock territory.

Wish to Leave was recorded from July to November 2020 in Leipzig with engineer/producer Max Herrmann, while V. Santura mastered the album.

For Lunar Shadow, Wish to Leave will be the album that divides fans and may possibly earn some new ones. It is a risk Birbaum and his bandmates are willing to take to break Lunar Shadow out of the metal underground.

Six tracks in this new platter; the first one is SERPENTS DIE, that after a long instrumental intro, develops between vintage 70’s hard rock and doom...the outcome is great!!

DELOMELANICON is an inspired tune, helped by gorgeous solo parts and driving bass lines; in TO DUSK AND I LOVE YOU we can find rhythms more thoughtful and interesting solo parts again.

In AND SILENCE SCREAMED we can find some traditional hm drops while the long THE DARKNESS BETWEEN THE STARS, provides through his almost 10 minutes, different emotions, ending in the best way a fancy album that deserves to be heard several times to be truly appreciated.
