Lower 13 is a power trio from the Cleveland; established in 2006, the band released 3 studio full-lenght.

Their line up consists of Sean Balog (bass, vocals), Patrick Capretta (guitars, vocals), and Eric Kruger (drums).

Their new album, "Embrace The Unknown", is loaded with heavy grooves, massive riffs and progressive influences, providing elements appreciated by fans of contemporary an old school Metal.

Aggressive vocals and soaring vocal harmonies nicely round off this album to take the listener on a head-banging journey.

The title-track is the first shot where prog elements, a complex structure and an incisive rhythm section live in perfect harmony.

After brilliant REFLECTION OF ME, HOLLOWED shows again aggressive vocals alternating with more linear parts.

In DARKER DAYS AHEAD we can find a more contemporary mood, followed by the wall of sound of LAST OF OUR KIND.

They go on with strong SELF SABOTAGE, followed by OUR COLLAPSE, one of our favorite, a structured song with thrash elements and sharp riffs.

They go on with HEAL before CONTINUE ON, a melodic and fancy tune, ends in the best way this great album that we suggest.
