Liar Thief Bandit are a power hard rock trio from Malmoe, Sweden.

After humble beginnings in 2015 making demos and playing first shows, they unleashed the following year self-produced debut album entitled “Gun Shovel Alibi”.

Two years later they deliver the sophomore album “Straight Ahead” released in august 2018, quickly followed by three European tours.

With new songs in the making, May 2019 saw the trio doing their 100th show in Hamburg as the premiere of an 18-day tour through Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

The coming fall saw a split 7” vinyl with Grande Royale released on the Sign Records and a tour through Germany and Switzerland supporting the double A-side single.

DEADLIGHTS is the third platter of the band, out two days ago.

12 songs in this new work opened by the title-track, where we can see the trademarks of the band; direct hard rock forged in best rock’n’roll tradition.

Squared the following BRAND NEW DAY, enhanced by more traditional HM drops, and with solo parts again well-groomed.

Rower following GOOD ENOUGH, enriched by garage vibes, reminding us the inspiration of bands such as The Datsuns.

They go on with CATCH AND RELEASE, easier to manage, and ‘CEPT THE TRUTH, two fast minutes song, and LIMITATIONS, sons of best The Hellacopters.

A lot of energy in FEATHER, with a great solo to remark, maybe a step behind I’VE GOT A LOT OF MONEY.

More lilting FOREVER THE OPTIMIST and we can appreciate SILVER TONIGHT; if RIGHT FROM WRONG flows brightly, faster HINDSIGHT ends in the better way an album that we suggest.
