Canadian HM band ICE WAR is ready to unleash the 5th album "Sacred Land", which will be released on May 18th, 2021 through Fighter Records on CD, 12"LP, Cassette and Digital formats.

ICE WAR is a solo project by Jo Capitalicide (also in APHRODITE) and although his previous four albums followed a style closer to Speed Metal, in this new album "Sacred Land", Jo has decided to make a turn towards a more epic and doom sound.

Seven tracks in this new platter opened by the title track, a squared song led by a doomy riffing and majestic vocals.

A dim atmosphere and powerful vibes in CRYSTAL MIRROR, followed by NUCLEAR GODS, a darker song, sabbathian at times.

They go on with more classic SO FAR AWAY, followed by BLACK HORSE.

Closer to doom and grandiloquent BLOOD AND FLAMES, truly our favorite, while SLAY THE BEAST ends in the best way this great album.

A NEW VERSION OF BLACK ICE, that proves that they’re able to do something different! TO SUGGEST!!
