Grindpad, thrash band from Holland, formed in 2006, are back after some EP's with their first full-length album 'Violence', out on IRON SHIELD on 20/3/2020.

After EP 'Sharkbite!', Grindpad has teamed up with Iron Shield Records to unleash their first full-length album.

With their new album 'Violence', Grindpad once again proves to be the master of up-tempo songs that make you want to fight the neighbours, but also show's off some great mid-tempo thrashers that make you want to bang your head off.

Eleven tracks in this platter which starts with anthemic MY NAME IS VIOLENCE, a thrash attack, with blackened suffered vocals.

BURN THE RAPIST is the second one, with rhythms more lilting and a touch of classic HM, great structures before restarting with another thrash attack.

Speed and violence in TOXIC TERROR, while THE KNIFE IS SHARPER THAN EVER leaves no respite, enhanced by solo parts fast and technical.

A short intro before PENALTY, classic thrash with pressing drums and a touch really fancy.

REVUELTA is wilder before BLOOD SEWAT AND PRIDE, furious but with a complex structure.

MATURE LOVE is more squared and is one of our favs; MK ULTRA and TO THOSE ABOUT TO DIE end in the best way this great platter.
