Four years later, the new album from British Hm band ELIMINATOR was out. Its title is ANCIENT LIGHT and is available on DISSONANCE.

A brilliant platter with ten new songs that you’ll appreciate; tempo changes, sparkling solos and harmonies, a both powerful and dynamic rhythm section and , last but not least, amazing vocals from Danny Foster.

Many solutions within an album always various and never obvious, helped by a powerful production that exalts every member.

They start with ARRIVAL which shows a band in best shape, where mighty gallops meet a complex structure.

They go on with SILENT STONE, helped by driving bass lines, and the title-track, a gem that works well.

Not least GODDESS OF LIFE and THE SCULPTOR AND THE STONE LADY, one of our favorite, where Classic HM vibes are enriched by a spanish interlude, and LORD OF SLEEP…, fast and pressing.

They go on with THE LIBRARY, mighty and powerful, and MERCY, where we feel some Maidens’ influences.

FOREVERLESS, after an electric arpeggio, is a fast run before THE NIGHTMARE OF AEON, a long outro with a final acceleration, ends in the best way an amazing album.
