DEAD QUIET are ready to unleash their new album entitled ‘Truth and Ruin', available on Sept 11th on Artoffact Records.

This album provides a fancy blend of dual guitars, soaring vocals of frontman Kevin Keegan and keyboards; hard’n’heavy son of the seventies but enriched by a modern twist.

Keegan is flanked by guitarist Brock MacInnes (of Juno Award winners Anciients), newest member Mike Rosen on keyboards, and the rhythm section of bassist Mike Grossnickle and drummer Jason Dana.

'Truth and Ruin' was engineered and mixed by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung) at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver.

It was mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Chelsea Wolfe) at West West Side Music in Hudson Valley, NY.

Since its formation in Vancouver in 2014, DEAD QUIET has toured with the likes of John Garcia (Kyuss) and Cancer Bats, and played festivals like Desertfest and Into the Void.

The first shot is organ driven ATONED DEAF, with its over 6 mins lenght, enhanced by strong riffing anda 70’s hard rock flavour.

The rhythm section works at its best with roaring bass and dynamic drums.

FOREVER UNSUNG shows great texture and musicality, followed by brilliant OF SOUND AND FURY.

The title track grows second after second after a lilting start, closer to classic hm and with solo parts to remark.

PARTIAL DARKNESS shows a more vintage touch in the first slice, before exploding in the second one.

We can appreciate also the darker THE SIGN OF A SEALED FATE, before more various last COLD GREY DEATH, almost 10 mins lenght, which ends in the best way this great platter.

A talented band..TRUTH AND RAIN is an album to suggest without hesitation!
