DAMN FREAKS is a side project of Iacopo Meille, frontman & lead singer of #nwobhm legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG.

Rising from the ashes of a previous band called FOOLS' MOON, drummer and producer Matteo Panichi had started working on some ideas guitarist Marco Torri had sent him. Matteo asked Iacopo Meille, lead singer of Tygers of Pan Tang and ex member of Fools' Moon – to join in and he suggested Claudio Rogai as bass player. A "Good ol' party time rock'n'roll" band, that's what Damn Freaks wanted to be from the start.

Their debut album released in 2017 set the path, the new album Love in Stereo will prove their skill.

Eleven songs in this platter, avalaible on VOLCANO RECORDS on Oct 23rd, 2020.

They starts with LOVE UNDER FIRE, with its seventies Hard Rock flavour, reminding the inspiration of best UFO with a Robert Plant touch; squared with roaring bass lines, we can find the right dose of musicality.

In I’M NOT YOUR ENEMY all sounds great while in in BULLETS FOR YOU we can find more rhythm and another solo to remark.

A more contemporary touch in REQUIEM, while in in smart SCREAM & SHOUT vocals sounds more “dirty”..truly one of our favorite!

In anthemic LIFE’S TOO SHORT TO FEEL OLD seventies hard rock feelings are mixed with a southern touch, available also in interlude AUSTIN, TEXAS.

A trip through eighties in GAME OVER, with an easier but enjoyable texture, followed by CRY FOR LOVE.

Ozone of our favs solo IN KISS MY ASS, before STRANGER TO YOUR TOUCH ends in the best way this great platter which we suggest without hesitation.
