Classic HM band CRYSTAL VIPER from Poland was out on Jan 29th with new album THE CULT, the first out via LISTENABLE RECORDS.

They provides a great blend of traditional HM with some European power Hm drops, all enhanced by charming melodies, great inspiration and technique and, above all, smarts songs.

Renowned producer Bart Gabriel did a great work helped by Cederick Forsberg on the mixing; they sounds classic but with a contemporary production, clear and powerful.

The platter shows no fillers; among others, we appreciated riffing and solo parts of the title track, brilliant

“Whispers from Beyond”, strong “Down in the Crypt” and “Forgotten Land” .

Honestly it’s a step ahead of previous TALES OF FIRE AND ICE that didn’t completely convince us.

TO SUGGEST WITHOUT HESITATION!!
