With nearly 40 albums experience, Christian Liljegren is truly one of the most productive metal musicians on the metal scene.

Christian has marked the way of new wave of Scandinavian metal since late 1990´s fronting Narnia Divinefire, The Waymaker and finally here comes Christian Liljegren first solo album where he shows his big variation in vocals and his roots with melody, energy and passion.

Toured around the world with Narnia, Divinefire, Audiovision, Golden Resurrection played festivals with Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Black Sabbath & Rainbow) Uriah Heep, Stratovarius among others.

This great MELODIC PASSION, available on March 26th, 2021, is a fancy album consisting of ten songs.

The first shot is the title track, fancy hard rock keyboards-driven enhanced by high level vocals and pounding drums.

We can feel influences from 80’s Deep Purple and Rainbow, a great way to start.

SALUTE FOR THE KING reminds us the Rainbow’s years with Dio, with driving bass lines which introduces fancy solo parts.

A drum roll to open THE ROCK, clear example of powerful hard rock, followed by THIS IS MY LOVE SONG, led by harmony.

In THE VICTORY, after the intro of a majestic organ, we can find a classic heavy rock riffing and again epic drops.

They go on with the seventies HR of DEAD OR ALIVE, the classy I BREATHE and HISTORY, with their neoclassical drops.

THIRD WAY and MY WAY accompany us to the end.
