The remastered vinyl release of six-song EP from one of Scandinavia’s brashest new bands, Hot Blood and Cold Steel immediately establishes Blood Sport as a speed metal force to be reckoned with!

They took action last summer when the world was in lockdown and created a speed metal band.

Holed up in their own studio in Finland, the band (comprised of V on vocals, Burst on guitars and bass and G.U.N. on session drums) provides a great example of classic and old-school speed metal album with a retro production and approach.

You can feel it since first MACHINE GUN, “raw and analogic”, enhanced by pounding and relentless drumming and enriched by a great guitar’s solo.

More Motörhead influences in following SIN UNTO DEATH and NIGHTRIDER, while STEEL SYSTEM is maybe a step behind.

They go on with AGITATOR, where Motörhead again meets speed metal and the BLOOD SPORTS that ends in the best way an interesting EP.
