Since their debut EP "Time Machine" out in 2015, NWOTHM German Band BLIZZEN is well-known of one of the more brilliant heir of classic & traditional HM scene.

Four years after the High Roller release "Genesis Reversed", "World In Chains" is the second album and will be available on April 24th, 2020 on Pure Steel Records,

This album was recorded by Markus Nöthen at the Airstream Studios in Koblenz and Evil Invaders guitarist Max Maxheim was also included in the mix.

After a short intro, GATES OF HELL is the first right shot, classic and not too fast track that comfortably flows.

FORGED WITH EVIL is different, thanks to smashing gallops, and enhanced by roaring bass, pressing drums and an effective solo.

After GRAVITY REMAINS, the title track is brilliant, with a darker and epic first part and more classic second one.

We love SERIAL KILLER, in our opinion one of the best shots of the platter..lilting and with great solo parts, followed by brilliant PARADISE AWAITS.

So squared the next great LUST, with awesome solo parts and twin guitar passages while the mad run of FORSAKEN SOUL ends this long awaited comeback.
