PURE STEEL RECORDS and BLACK ROSE UK signed a worldwide multi-album deal last year and now they are ready to unleash the new album 'WTF’, scheduled on 24/06/2022.

BLACK ROSE are a cult #nwobhm band well-known on our pages; they released two vinyl albums - 'Boys Will be Boys' in 1984 on Bullet Records and 'Walk it how you talk it' in 1987 on Neat Records.

After splitting up in 1989, BLACK ROSE reformed in 2010 to play at the Cradle of Rock Festival in 2011, the first show after 22 years.

The line up now features three original members, Steve Bardsley (lead vocals and guitar), Kenny Nicholson (lead guitar) and Paul Fowler (drums), helped by new bass player Kiko Rivers.

They released a third album in 2012 on Metalizer Records entitled 'Cure for your Disease'; ‘WTF' will be their fourth studio album, surely the heaviest.

It consists of 12 new songs and is opened by CRAZY MENTAL BAD; after an instrumental intro, it shows an heavy and fast sound, helped by pressing drums and roaring bass.

To remark great solo parts and it will be a tradermark of the whole album.

Not least following DEVILS CANDY and the title track, a true steamroller!

Sometin’ different in PAIN, where a sound closer to hard rock and a last slice groovy and sharp live in perfect harmony.

Fast and furious INNOCENCE and DETONATOR, while UNDER MY SKIN, powerful and squared, is one of our favorite.

TWIST THE KNIFE is another kick in the teeth, before wider TATTOOS & LIPSTICK that works great.

They go on with NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, that provides a more rockin’ soul, followed by BROKEN, maybe the only track a step behind.

ARMAGEDDON is the brilliant song that ends in the best way this great album.

BLACK ROSE..Absolutely ALIVE AND KICKIN’!! TO SUGGEST!!
