BIFF BYFORD, legendary singer of SAXON, is out for a few days with his first solo album, after a 2019 not easy thanks to serious health issues.

An album which is another confirm by a a top musician, able in this solo fatigue to show all his passions, from direct and classic hard rock (WELCOME TO THE SHOW) to more structured metal sound (THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM), from the folk of classic SCARBOROUGH FAIR to fancy ballads.

Well produced with a powerful sound, enhanced by FREDRIK AKESSON (OPETH), CHRISTIAN LUNDQVIST and GUS MACRICOSTAS, SOHN shows contributions from many famous friends such as PHIL CAMPBELL, ALEX HOLZWARTH (LT RHAPSODY) and NICK BARKER (CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR).

To remind the WISHBONE ASH cover of THROW DOWN THE SWORD, the ballad ME AND YOU and the more structured BLACK AND WHITE.

And to find the metal sound of SAXON..PEDAL TO THE METAL, among others.
