AXEWITCH, classic band from Sweden, is ready to unleash the new album OUT OF THE ASHES INTO THE FIRE on April 30th, 2021 on PURE STEEL RECORDS.

All classic metal fans 80s will remember this band, author of 3 albums and one EP made between 1982 and 1985.

Nothing has changed, so you can be sure that with the new album you will get exactly what you expect from the band, enhanced by a clear and contemporary production.

Ten tracks and two bonus tracks in this new album; the first shot is THE PUSHER, a very valuable piece, a great blend of heavy rock with classic metal drops, with a great solo part and great entanglements between vocals and backing vocals.

PITCH BLACK DARKNESS is opened by a majestic intro followed by a strong riff and confirms the band in its best shape, while DUES TO PAY is a richer and more structured track, where their heavy rock winks at seventies hard rock, helped by keyboards and by gorgeous solo parts (a trademark of the album).

LET SLEEPING DOG LIE shows the rocking and direct side of the band, followed by brilliant BOOGIE OF DEATH.

After fancy LOSING YOU, GOING DOWN, opened by keyboards and by a smart arpeggio, develops itself thanks a great vocals’ and guitars’ contribution.

A bit darker following THE HEALER, while stronger LIE TO ME is a great example of eighties classic HM and is one of our favorite!

On the same line last VIOLATOR which ends in the best way this brilliant platter!!

AXEWITCH ARE BACK WITH A LOT TO SAY AGAIN!!
