STUD is a hard n’ heavy band from Helsinki, Finland, ready to unleash a new album entitled WAR POWER, available on Nov 20th.

Founded 34 years ago, when they released a single of two songs ’Mä haluun elää / Viimeinen yö’, in 2011 STUD was born again, choosing english language.

After their return STUD has released all their three albums: ’Out of the darkness’ (2013), ’Rust on the rose’ (2014) and ’Circle of lies’ (2017).

The first shot is the title track, with clear vocals and its fancy classic flavoured heavy rock, followed by IN MY TRAGEDY, where we can find some traditional HM and hard rock drops.

More complex structures in ADDICTION, a tune which grows after second second, maybe a bit darker.

They go on with TIRED, more eighties and positive, while DEMON’S GATE remind us the inspiration of best ALCATRAZZ.

To remark darker..DARKNESS TO FALL followed by more open MOVIN’ON; SOULMATE provide fresh rockin’ vibes, being at times closer to traditional HM with epic drops.

WINGS ON FIRE and SEEKER, with its melodic arpeggio, end in the best way an album that we suggest without hesitation.
