BAND Troyen ALBUM A NEW DAWN (EP) LABEL VULCAN RECORDS OUT 7/2019 OUR RATING 83/100 It's out for a few days a new EP, entitled A NEW DAWN, by TROYEN, the cult nwobhm band well-known on our pages. With this new job they have the chance to present two new members, bass guitarist Mark Nortley and Steve Haslam, togheter with original members, the lead guitarist/vocalist Steve McGuire (welcome back after an heart operation) and drummer Jeff Baddley. The first shot is LADY EVIL, that hit us thanks to a strong riff and cool vocals. ‘Don’t Send Me To War (2019)’ is the new version of the original recorded in 1981. After the great ‘Nightmare’, it's time for ‘Syrian Lady’, maybe the heaviest tune of the EP, before an extended version of ‘Don’t Send Me To War(2019)’ ends in the best way this great return.
