Oskari Räsänen, drummer of MAUSOLEUM GATE,  goes on with this side project called IRON GRIFFIN with its first  LP, Curse of the Sky. 

Iron Griffin is a classic metal project well mixed with seventies Hard Rock roots. 

The band’s first full-length shows Iron Griffin exploring the field of proto-metal with a new added value: new vocalist Maija Tiljander. He decided to spend all July of previous year locked in a rehearsal room composing and fine-tuning his new compositions. 

Iron Griffin’s self-titled 2017 EP, positive reviewed on our pages, saw Räsänen joined by vocalist Toni Pentikäinen. 

Maija Tiljander, as abomentioned, is a real added value.. she's a singer able to arise with this difficult vocal melodies, taking the listener on a journey through the realms of ‘70s-inspired proto metal, where Räsänen’s progressive leanings merge with his love for allegory and storytelling.
