Trapped Under Ice Vol. I is a new collection of ten cuts from few of the best new Canadian NWOTHM bands.
Each band provides an exciting track completely exclusive to this collection, reflecting today’s incredible underground scene across Canada. The added value provided by this kind of compilation is high, if you think about the history of Metal.
After the stunning BRITISH STEEL, out two years ago via DISSONANCE, now it's time for this well-done job by TEMPLE OF MISTERY RECORDS.
And it's great seein' the high level of many bands, as well as well-known names on our pages such as METALIAN or TRAVELER.
We can find also interesting band such as CAUCHEMAR, out with two full lenght, with their 70/80 Hard Rock enriched by great french vocals of singer ANNICK GIROUX, or FREEWAYS, also bishops of classic Hard Rock son of THIN LIZZY.
If OCCULT BURIAL and BARROW WIGHT are two power trio son of MOTÖRHEAD and black metal, it's a pleasure listening to SPELL, another well-known name with two full-lenght out, that show their passion for Hard Rock.
Last two songs are played by BLACKRAT, out in the last slice of 2018 with a great album, a well done mix of speed and black, and EMBLEM with their stunning classic HM.
