It was the first studio album by DEEP PURPLE  with the Mk II after "Who Do We Think We Are" out in 1973.

The album was reissued in 1999 with the bonus track "Son of Alerik". 

The latter had previously been available as a B-side on the single "Perfect Strangers" in 1984. TRACKLIST
