OATH is the solo project of STEVEN WADDELL, guitarist of scottish band TANTRUM.

Out last September, it shows, throughout four songs, stunning guitar silos, fancy riffs and harmonies son of classic British Heavy Rock and first glorious years of NWOBHM.

You can find it in the first ace called A DREAM OF SOLITUDE, that starts elegantly but not pushing; vocals flow fine and they are a form of added value, before guitar's solo explodes totally inspired.

On the same way the great title track and CRY OF THE WOLF, with its great vintage flavour.

The last shot is THE CARPATHIAN, with its riffing a bit stronger, with another solo to remind again.

HEAVY ROCK really interesting, son of the past but able to look forward.
