TRAVELER, well known on our pages, are ready with their self-titled debut full-length album, available on Feb 22nd via Gates of Hell Records.

A well-done job that shows eight songs of classic metal, surely son of the past but ready to live the future.

Traveler, who are now rounded out by amazing singer Jean-Pierre Abboud (also of Gatekeeper), Matt Ries, second guitarist Toryin "Junior" Schadlich, bassist Dave Arnold (ex-Striker) and drummer Chad Vallier, tracked drums at AB Records, guitars at Ries’s home studio and vocals at Richhobo Studios.

The self-titled album comprises three songs from the band’s debut demo and five brand-new compositions.

If STARBREAKER, BEHIND THE IRON and MINDLESS MAZE are well-known by our readers, STREET MACHINE is the first new song, a strong track enhanced by an inspired solos.

KONAMIZED is a great instrumental interlude that opens smart UP TO YOU.

FALLEN HEROES is another right shot, closer to Hard Rock in the first slice and made more scratchy by vocals, while SPEED QUEEN starts faster before developing itself in somethin' really classic.

An album to suggest for all classic metal fans!
